Various Syracuse organizations officially rename student section the ‘Ozone’

first_imgThe student section now formerly known as “Otto’s Army” has a new name, Syracuse Athletics announced on Wednesday.Through a collaborative effort with Otto’s Army, the university’s residence hall association, Greek Life and Student Association, the decision has been made to refer to the student section at home games as the ‘Ozone.’In effect, the naming draws a distinction between Otto’s Army, which still exists as a student organization on campus, and the student section as a whole at home games, which includes many students who are not members of Otto’s Army.
