Well, ladies and gentlemen, this is it, the PlayStation Phone, er, rather, the Sony Ericsson Xperia Play. Engadget has some rather conclusion evidence that the long-rumored gaming handset is, in fact, real. Actually, the site managed somehow to get some serious hands-on time with the phone, which is said to be getting its official unveiling at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. The site is confirming that the device features a four inch 854 by 480 screen and 512MB of RAM. Also, as suspected, it’s running Android 2.3 Gingerbread. For whatever reason, however, Engadget’s model had its WiFi crippled, which takes a lot of the fun out of play with a multimedia mobile device.
