ZTE Corp, a Chinese provider of telecommunications equipment and network solutions, launched a mobile handset at GITEX TECHNOLOGY WEEK in Dubai that can function in extreme environments. The GH800 handset comes with a 4” touch screen and, the company reports, “supports 30-minute immersion in 1 m depth water without affecting normal use.
